3 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Safari

Day 1: Kampala/Entebbe – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, meet your professional safari guide and begin the journey southwest towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Travel through changing countryside, towns and increasingly hilly landscapes as you approach Uganda’s gorilla region.

Arrive at your lodge later in the day and settle into the peaceful forest surroundings. Your accommodation will be selected according to the sector indicated on your confirmed gorilla permit so that the following morning’s transfer to the briefing point remains practical.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

The trek may involve steep slopes, dense vegetation and changing weather as the team follows signs of the assigned gorilla family. Once the gorillas are located, observe them according to the current park regulations while they feed, rest, groom or interact within their natural forest habitat.

After the trek, return to your lodge for a relaxed afternoon and evening surrounded by the Bwindi highlands.
