3 Days Murchison Falls Wildlife Safari

The 3 Days Murchison Falls Wildlife Safari combines Uganda’s largest national park with game viewing, the River Nile and the dramatic Murchison Falls. Three days provide a comfortable introduction to the park, allowing time for both savannah wildlife and the river ecosystem.

Day 1: Kampala/Entebbe – Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park – Visit the Falls

After breakfast, meet your professional safari guide and begin the journey north from Kampala or Entebbe towards Murchison Falls National Park. Pass through changing countryside and rural communities before entering the conservation area.

On arrival, visit the spectacular Murchison Falls, where the River Nile is compressed through a narrow rocky gorge before plunging downstream. Take time to enjoy the viewpoint and photograph the power of the river before continuing to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Nile Boat Safari

After an early breakfast, head into the savannah for a morning game drive. Lions and other predators may also be encountered, although sightings depend on natural wildlife movement.

After lunch, transfer to the River Nile for an afternoon boat safari. Watch for hippos, crocodiles and abundant waterbirds while elephants, buffaloes and antelopes may approach the riverbanks. Continue towards the falls area before returning to your lodge in the evening.
